1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 medium bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add buttermilk. Blend in dry ingredients, fold in mashed bananas and nuts. Pour into greased 9x5 loaf tin. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until tests done. Makes 10 servings.
